Jalapeño Lemonade Recipe – Made Three Ways

This summer, life looks different. It feels different. Even though so much has changed in how we gather and share – celebrating the traditions of ending long summer days with refreshing beverages from our backyard brings my whole crew together to soak up the moments of normal.

And believe me when I tell you that we are all in the backyard together. Because we are together ALL.THE.TIME.

Not that I’m complaining.

So when Florida’s Natural® asked me to share one of our favorite summer drink recipes – made in three different ways – I knew that I would share our Jalapeño Lemonade Recipe. It’s sweet and sour and has just enough spice to make everyone smile.

My husband likes it straight up, I really enjoy the slushie version, and my kids (naturally) love the non-alcoholic version with the raw sugar rim.

You’re going to love these Jalapeño Lemonades

Even if you’re not a huge fan of jalapeños, you’ll still love these drinks. The hardest part is going to be deciding which version you want to make.

Jalapeño Lemonade Vodka

Jalapeño Lemonade Slushie

Jalapeño Lemonade Mocktail

All three are absolute perfection on a steamy summer night – even if you are pretending that you aren’t sitting in your backyard with your husband, your kids and your dog for the millionth night in a row.

How to Make a Jalapeño Lemonade Mocktail

To get started, mix one cup of Florida’s Natural® Lemonade, two tablespoons of pickled jalapeño juice and a scoop of ice in a cocktail shaker. Give it a few shakes and BAM – you have a Jalapeño Lemonade Mocktail. Pour it into a raw-sugar rimmed glass and enjoy!

How to Make a Jalapeño Lemonade Vodka

Want to turn that mocktail into a cocktail? Follow the instructions for the mocktail, but add 1/4 cup of vodka. Easy, right?

Our recipe calls for Lemon Vodka, but I’ve found that regular vodka tastes just as great. Yum!

How to Make a Jalapeño Lemonade Slushie

Take this drink up one more notch and make it a boozy slushie. And it really couldn’t be easier.

Add all of your ingredients (including the vodka) into a blender along with a scoop of ice. Pulse until desired thickness is achieved. Pour and enjoy.

The Most Important Ingredient is Florida’s Natural® Lemonade

We’re huge fans of Florida’s Natural lemonades.

They have no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Plus, they have managed to achieve the perfect balance of sweet and sour!

Florida’s Natural lemonades come in six delicious flavors:

  • Traditional Lemonade
  • Lemonade with Pomegranate
  • Lemonade with Strawberry
  • Lemonade with Raspberry and Peach
  • Lemonade with Blackberry
  • Lemonade Iced Tea

Each purchase of Florida’s Natural lemonades helps support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which funds childhood cancer research. Florida’s Natural donates ALL profits from lemonade sales to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
