cinnamon roll waffles with frosting on top

Breakfast doesn’t get much better than this! Learn how to make delicious cinnamon roll waffles. This easy breakfast recipe starts with a can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and will satisfy your sweet cravings and leave you wanting more!

  • Total Time: 7 - 10 min
  • Yield: 3 - 6 waffles

Ingredients

  • One can Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls
  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • Dash Mini Waffle Maker

Instructions

  1. Plug in Dash Mini Waffle Maker and wait for indicator light to go off to show that it’s ready to use.
  2. Spray both top and bottom plates with nonstick cooking spray. You will need to do this with every single waffle.
  3. Place two cinnamon rolls in the waffle maker and close the lid.
  4. Cook for 2 – 5 minutes or until golden brown. (Ours were perfect at 3 minutes, 17 seconds).
  5. Using a silicone or wooden spatula, transfer waffle to a cooling rack and let cool for 3-5 minutes to allow waffle to get crispy on the outside.
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 until all waffles are made.
  7. Top with cream cheese frosting if desired – or other toppings like mapel syrup, fresh fruit, chopped nuts, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, etc.

Notes

MAKE HOMEMADE – If you’re looking to make dietary modifications (like gluten free or dairy free cinnamon roll waffles), feel free to use your favorite cinnamon roll recipe from scratch.
