For the Latte

  • 3/4 cup Almond milk
  • 2 oz espresso or 1/4 cup coffee of your choice
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar cookie symple syrup
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

For the Sugar Cookie Simple Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the water, brown sugar, granulated sugar, Butter Extract, Vanilla extract, and Almond Extract.
  2. Stir constantly and bring to a simmer.
  3. When all sugar dissolves, remove from heat and pour into a mason jar (or another glass, airtight container)

You have now made a simple syrup. Store in an airtight container in the cabinet for up to two weeks.

To make a Hot Latte

  1. Brew your espresso or coffee.
  2. Steam your milk. If you don’t have a steamer, you can put it in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time or heat in a saucepan over medium heat. Easy!
  3. Combine your coffee, milk and simple syrup in a mug and mix well.
  4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Yum!

To make an Iced Latte

  1. Fill a glass with ice.
  2. Add cold milk and cold espresso or coffee (or even store-bought cold brew coffee).
  3. Add simple syrup and mix well.
  4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Yum!
