  • Total Time: 5 min
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups espresso or strong coffee, cooled (optional, freeze into ice cubes) You can also use store-bought cold brew.
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 cups ice cubes (omit if using coffee ice cubes)
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder or 1-2 pumps of chocolate syrup (use more or less based on your preference)
  • 5 to 7 drops peppermint extract or 1-2 pumps of peppermint syrup (use more or less based on your preference)
  • Optional: 1 tsp instant coffee granules or to taste
  • Optional: Whipped cream and toppings (like shaved chocolate, crushed peppermint and chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until well mixed. If you have difficulty blending, let sit for five minutes and try again.
  2. Top with optional toppings and enjoy!

Notes

Looking for a stronger coffee flavor? Add a teaspoon of instant coffee granules.

Frappe feeling runny? Make coffee ice cubes the night before! Pour brewed coffee into ice cube trays and add that to your blender (omit the regular ice).

Want an even stronger mocha flavor? Use chocolate milk as your milk.

Want a sweeter drink? Add more brown sugar!
