Starbucks Caramel Brulee Latte in a clear mug

Easy Caramel Brulee Latte Starbucks Copycat Recipe

Available on their special holiday season menu, the Starbucks Caramel Brûlée Latte combines caramel sweetness with the warmth of espresso and the creaminess of milk and whipped cream to create a cozy, warm experience that’s perfect for the holiday season. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make this delightful drink in the comfort of your own home.

  • Total Time: 10 min
  • Yield: 2 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce or syrup + extra for the drizzle on top. We use Smucker’s Caramel Sauce. Use more or less according to taste.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk of your choice
  • 2 shots of espresso or 10 ounces strong coffee
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1.  Combine caramel syrup, vanilla, brown sugar, and milk in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Do not boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, 1-2 minutes.
  2. Pour into your favorite mug and mix in your espresso or coffee.
  3. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel syrup.

Notes

MAKE AN ICED CARAMEL BRULEE LATTE

Looking to turn this caramel latte into an iced latte? No problem! Simply add ice to your glass, make sure the coffee or espresso is chilled (you can even use store-bought cold brew) and use cold milk. And then you have your very own iced Caramel Brulee Latte!

MAKE IT A DECAF

Because you’re making this at home, you can substitute the espresso for strong decaf coffee.

MAKE IT SWEETER OR LESS SWEET

Experiment with how much syrup and brown sugar you add to make this the best latte you’ve ever had.
