My Life

My Make Believe Best Friend…

By  |

When I was growing up, I had crushes on nearly every boy band member that existed. I would listen to their music and know that they were singing to me.

I would read TEEN magazine and know that if they just met ME, then they would fall madly in love.

I knew that boy band members everywhere had a thing for girls with short hair and thick calves.

My Awesome Short Hair

At least that was what I would tell myself.

And now, I just know that if Tori Spelling and I had the opportunity to meet, we would be best friends forever.

Not the kind that you only see now and then – I mean the kind that talk every single day, schedule regular outings to be with each other, want their kids to grow up with each other, can’t buy shoes without consulting the other kind of BFFs.

I’m serious.

I watched her in 90210. Then I watched her in Home Sweet Hollywood. And I have no doubt that we are long-lost friends.

She’s super, duper funny – and I love to laugh.

Tori can hold a full wine bottle with her breasts. I can balance a beer on my butt shelf. Pretty much the same thing.

I had Miles and Alice super close together and Tori had her first two kids super close together (and it sounds like her last two kids are also going to be super close together.) And – FYI – I won’t be having a 4th child just because Tori is. I’m not that crazy.

Tori has a blog – I have a blog.

Even Steven makes a HOT Dean McDermott. I know this because I pasted our family’s heads onto Tori’s families’ bodies for my pregnancy announcement with Alice.

Even Steven looks good, doesn’t he?

What can I say? I just have a feeling that we were meant to be friends. Kind of like when I saw Even Steven wearing duck boots in college and knew he was meant to be mine.

I just saw Tori speak at a book signing for her new book, you should so see if she’s stopping in your town – the *second* you met I bet you will be besties.

That’s crazy. I have ALWAYS felt like Tori Spelling and I could be best friends if only she would answer my tweets!! (I only use twitter to stalk celebrities and blog owners). If you and Tori could be BFFs, I’m pretty sure you and I could be BFFs. Then the three of us could hang out constantly. I’m in.

What would I DO without my Anna fix in the mornings? LOL! Tori was WAY past MY celeb days. But I DID used to be 100% convinced that Patty Duke (I know, I know. Who the !#$%? is SHE, right?) was my twin. I WAS a twin and my ‘parents’ claim my twin died. Then again, they gave away 3 of us who ‘looked too Indian’ so how do I KNOW my TWIN didn’t have a tad more color to her skin? If you were to see photos of the two of us as teens, you’d understand! So, HEY! If Patty could be my TWIN SIS, for SURE Tori could be YOUR BFF! I say, find that chica’s number & give her a call! P.S. This may not win me any points, but in that picture Even Steven resembles Charlie Sheen. CLEAN & SOBER Charlie, of course. Okay. I think I’ve said enough. I’m outta here. …………… oooops, heehee … almost forgot … HI, Anna’s mom!!!!

I was always more of a Jennie Garth girl…until I grew up and stuff. Now I love me some Tori. I could help you find her address and we could go and stalk her house, wait for her to leave then pounce on her! Once she sees you, she will totally remember her long lost BFF. Totally.

I’ve always felt the same way about Jennifer Garner! Even though she’s 13 years older than me, we both have three kids and I’m in love with her. Although she spaced her kids apart and I did the 3 kids in 3 years like you, but not on purpose. At all. I even tried having my tubes tied, but my hubby’s super swimmers somehow got through. Dang men. Love your blog!

    Have a great day!

Oh and Anna, if your Pretend BFF gives you any Pretend money – don’t forget about your REal Mom!!
    Love you!

I knew Jordan from New Kids on the Block was meant to be mine… too bad he never got the chance to meet me, so he decided to be gay instead. 😉 I named my son after him anyways!

And Carla Gugino, from Son-In-Law (with Pauly Shore) was my best friend. We dressed alike, laughed alike, and she looks just like me!

People tell me I look like Tori Spelling —- not in a perky chest way, or a size ZERO way, but in a same hair, big eyes sort of way…. let’s go buy some shoes and drink some wine!

Honestly, i think Kai is my long-lost-never-met-BFF! I KNOW who Patty Duke is!
Girl, if you want Tori for your BFF then she needs to know it! She has a blog? What is it? I’ll tell her myself! You know, I’ll bet she has connections to publishers for your book! Oh, my! It was meant to be!!! Let’s get cracking on this.

But kiddo, I have to ask. Even if it shows my age. WHO are those PEOPLE in the first pic? Ewwwww. Really. I’ll bet Kai agrees.

The only boy band member I was ever sure was singing to me was Joey McIntyre and I’m not so sure he isn’t singing to me even today.

Whewwww! What a relief! I also have a girl crush on Tori – I thought I might be the only one. I’m so glad I visited you from Transformation Thursday over at The Shabby Creek – you’re a riot! But, before I run … I have to tell you something I think you’ll appreciate … I recently ordered something from InvenTORI, but because of a little snafu with their supplier my order was delayed so guess what!?! They’re sending me a signed copy of her new book! Can I get a WHOOOWHOO!?! LOL! Any gal that loves Tori is a friend of mine … I’m your newest follower 😉
