Christmas Through the Years

By  |

At around this time each year, I create a picture book and look at the past year of pictures. And then I go back and look at all of the books from the previous years.

And then I cry. Our kids are growing up. I’m getting wrinkles. Big Hairy Dog probably only has a few years left.

Luckily Even Steven is as hot as ever.

Ho Ho Ho

I’ve created a little slideshow to give you a glimpse of our lives through the years – starting when Even Steven and I were married in 2002. You’ll be able to see us when we were young and didn’t have kids yet. (And when my hair was blonde.) Oh – and that time we ran a marathon… Enjoy!

If you don’t see little arrows at the top or bottom of this post, click here to load the slideshow.

Loved seeing the look through the years and I know the feeling of just getting older here myself, but that last picture, one word, “Priceless!”

You have gotten hotter over the years. I guess it evens out. If some women lose their looks, other women have to find them, right?

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww! So beautiful…the whole family. You can use these pics in the book you’re gonna write! Right? Maybe THIS year?? May you and yours have a blessed Christmas and a happy, safe, and prosperous New Year (prosperous, as in book deals). Love ya, girl! Dona

Love the family photos, and I’m maybe a little jealous of the blonde hair years!

Gorgeous! This would be me and my husband exactly. I change a bunch and the hubs is the same guy from 20 years ago!

Love to see how couples love to each other grows each year.

Poor big hairy dog. Quite absent from later pictures. Actually, after baby #1. The Shmoople at our house hasn’t been in a picture in years either. Poor things…
