“If you have a pull-out bed or air mattress, set it up in your living room and watch movies and eat snacks in bed.” -Megan

“My sisters and I are making heart-shaped pizza and cookies with the kids. One Dad works nights and the other is looking forward to a nap before we all get home.” -Romy

“I only asked for a night with no cooking or dishes.” -Amanda

“Kids eat pasta and then go to sleep and parents eat sushi with wine.” -Bénédicte

“I say have hubby pick up good take out on the way home…mine hopefully will be picking up our favorite Thai…feed kids early…place movie in for them when he gets home and enjoy dinner….” -Kristie

“I am going to include my kids in the celebration. I got some great steaks and my local store had lobsters on sale so I’m making surf & turf and going to ask the girls to help set the table. Then we will send the kids to bed and enjoy a romantic yet cheesy movie and enjoy dessert in my hubby’s arms.” -Nadyme

“We cook a steak dinner at home with our boys… set the table “fancy” with candles, etc. Then usually watch a movie together after our kids go to sleep… Not too exciting! We go out and celebrate our anniversary more, which is three weeks before Valentine’s…” -Mindy

“Put the kiddos to bed and then relax with a bottle of wine and a movie if I can stay up long enough.” -Kelly

“Our best v-days were the ones when our daughter was small (ages four to about 7). She would help us plan and cook a candlelit dinner for the THREE of us LOL! With a special heart shaped dessert of course. She was so cute. Now? If she catches us sitting at the same table she declares ‘GROSS!’ and hides in another room LOLOLOL! P.S. We drank fizzy grapejuice from wine glasses too.” -Krysta

“We do Chinese delivery and a movie. I know the holiday is supposed to be about us, but we have more fun celebrating with kids. This year we’re doing Valentine’s donuts for breakfast, taking vday treats to teachers at our gym, crafts and baking daddy a cake while he’s at work. We can do a special date any time of the year. I still get hubby something small and he sends flowers.” -Kristina

“A nice dinner, movie, chocolate fondue and wine!” -Melisa
