Ever since I heard Alice’s cries in the delivery room, and they told us she was a girl – (three years, two months and 21 days ago) – I’ve been wondering…
Is it possible to raise a girl that doesn’t have body image issues?
Is it possible to raise a girl that is confident in her body – regardless of its size?
A girl that likes the way she looks – but knows that her true beauty is in her mind and in her heart?
Is it possible to raise a girl that doesn’t battle with food or dieting throughout her life?
And if it is – how do you teach healthy eating and exercise habits without it becoming extreme? How do you teach confidence, balance and moderation?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
